The Prinzess Irene, arriving on August 30, 1906 at Ellis Island. Tommaso Saverio Rotella is on line 29. It's interesting to note he was a Steerage Passenger. It appears he may have traveled with Angelo Soluri (50 years old), also from Gimigliano. He was 17 years old and single. He came to the US with $10. It also shows he was 5'6" and healthy. Unfortunately, the manifest is very poorly reproduced on microfilm and it's impossible to read who he was going to join or any other details. |
