History
The Cantebury ranch, 2545 Brixton Road, was built in 1957. The home was
designed as an all electric home with all General Electric (GE) appliances.
Originally, the home had a pink stucco exterior. The baths are pink and gray.
The kitchen has pink metal cabinets. A low voltage lighting system is used
throughout and many of the rooms have fluorescent lights (controlled by
dimmers!). A Bogen intercom that operated through the telephone company's switch
gave the occupants room-to-room communication.
